3rd Round of "Hi-Tec" National League comes to an end.

“Hi-Tec” National Squash League

James Bonello Ghio once again confirmed that he is the highest ranked player in the “Hi-Tec” National League by retaining the top spot for the third round in a row.

In one of the closest matches possible, James beat Steve Rizzo 3-2 and 11-10 in the fifth set to once again clinch top spot. Theresa Camilleri came in a close second, after another great round and having beaten several of the top male players on the Island.

The second division was a one sided affair. Robert Sultana in great form beat all his opponents with relative ease . He shoots back to the top division together with Chris Stahl who is considered one of the World’s best squash players in the over 65 category. Moving up to the second divison are Charles Mifsud together with Malcom Crabbe.

Worthy of a mention are young John Cuschieri who retains his place in the 3rd division after another impressive round together with Liz Said and Kate Borg who both won all their games in their respective divisions.
